FAQ

  • The venue has a large public car park which can be paid for using mobile payments however we have a limited number of free parking spaces which will be sectioned off from the rest of the car park. You can leave your car overnight however please note that there is no CCTV or security so this would be at the owner’s risk. Having said that, there is unlikely to be much footfall at night given the location.

If you are planning on parking at the venue, please let us know so we can ensure we allocate you one of our parking tickets.

  • No, the food will be served family style and therefore you can pick and choose which dishes you want. If you do have any dietary requirements such as allergies, please do let us know ASAP so we can inform the caterers.

There will be vegetarian food available, and we can ask for these to be vegan if required. We will do our best to ensure there are plenty of options for you all.

  • Unfortunately, not as we are not using any hotels as part of our special day.

There are plenty of accommodation options available in Christchurch and the surrounding areas. Christchurch is a popular holiday destination for families in the summer so there is no shortage of Air BnB’s, B&Bs and even pubs with accommodation.
Bournemouth is not too far by car so if you fail to find something you fancy locally, you should have no problem in Bournemouth. If you are struggling and want some help, please let us know.

As the wedding is during the summer holidays, we would advise you to book something as soon as possible.

  • Christchurch is a really pretty town that has beaches and easy access to the New Forest.

One of our favourite places is Mudeford Quay and catching the ferry over to Mudeford Spit/Sandbank. There is a cafe/restaurant which also does takeaway food, coffees and ice creams. The ferry takes dogs, babies and buggies! If you fancied a longer walk you can drive to Hengistbury Head and walk along the spit through some wooded areas. If you don’t fancy the walk back, there is a land train that leaves on a regular basis. Please check if it is running that day as the service has become a little unpredictable over the years.

For those who are bringing their dog for the weekend, please note that during the Summer months there are strict rules about where you can walk your dog off the lead (at the beach). We would advise you investigate this first to avoid disappointment.

  • We have been living together for a few years now and being the ripe old age of
40-ish we really don’t need anything.

If you would like to gift us something, we are planning for a belated honeymoon next summer so anything gratefully received will be put towards making it a memorable trip.

Please remember your presence is gift enough.

  • We regret that confetti or rice, including the biodegradable varieties (e.g. rose petals, rice paper) is not permitted in the grounds
